Data Center Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Director to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team in Zurich, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of technical professionals in data center operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services and high-quality customer experience.
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators, closely monitoring ticket queues for large events and taking prompt action as needed.
- Educate, train, and guide data center operations technicians in best practices related to resolving service owner issues.
- Manage and deliver mid-size projects, recommending, writing, and overseeing policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain a diverse team of data center technicians with varying skills, ensuring 24/7 operations through effective on-call schedule management and absence/vacation coordination.

Requirements- Relevant professional qualification or degree in an IT field or job-related experience
- Direct people management experience, proven track record of success in delivering projects despite competing priorities and distractions
- Understanding of IT Operations and Service Management practices
We offer a competitive salary range of CHF 120,000 - 180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for mentorship, career growth, and work-life balance, supporting your personal and professional development.
