About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Datacenter and Infrastructure Manager to lead our team of experts in support of our streaming services. As a key member of our Operations team, you'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and developing our Datacenters, Server and Network Infrastructure, and conducting projects to extend capacity and connectivity.

With a strong background in network and datacenter engineering, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the stable operation of our services, scaling our infrastructure, and optimizing our network. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to our sustainability goals by identifying CO2 emitters and finding alternative solutions in hosting, powering, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4 engineers responsible for data center and network services
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainable service delivery
  • Operate, maintain, and renew the entire high-availability datacenter infrastructure
  • Be involved in choosing general hardware choices
  • Plan our network and security equipment and related services with the team
  • Manage external supplier relationships
  • Manage and deliver mid-size projects
  • Work with the SRE, Video, and Dev teams to define and document standards and architectures
Requirements
  • 5+ years managing network or datacenter engineering teams
  • 10+ years working in Internet-related fields
  • Extensive experience with Data Center operations and planning
  • In-depth understanding of CDN concepts
  • Experience in selecting, testing, and deploying hardware
  • Knowledgeable in network engineering procedures, best practices, and implementation of network documentation and diagramming
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize projects according to organizational direction
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
