Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Title: Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead and manage large, complex projects focused on Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT Service Continuity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-based projects and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage large, complex projects that involve Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT service continuity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Cloud Architecture & System Administration: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability. Serve as the subject matter expert in cloud architecture and system administration.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop, test, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring readiness for any disruptions in service or infrastructure failures.
  • Business & IT Collaboration: Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions into the overall business strategy.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure that supports backup, recovery, and continuity operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify potential risks to business continuity and IT services, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on operations during outages or failures.
Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Certified System Administrator and Certified Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience: Proven experience managing large, complex projects with a focus on Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or IT Service Continuity. Extensive experience working on cloud-based projects with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
