About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist at Lombard Odier Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and repair hardware and software components of our computers
  • Provide technical support to our users through remote access or on-site visits
  • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, SD-Access, and wireless infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot network issues and collaborate with the Network Team to resolve them
  • Manage and maintain our systems infrastructure, including ESX
  • Install and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, servers, and switches
  • Update and maintain software and hardware inventory
  • Assist in the budget process and manage contracts with local vendors
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of computer hardware during office moves
  • Advise users on hardware and software usage
  • Provide support to Independent Asset Managers
  • Create and maintain documentation and wiki
  • Participate in the implementation and deployment of group projects
  • Participate in the Business Continuity Plan

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar function
  • Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Certification as an IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Apple and Android mobile devices
  • Good understanding of the OSI model and Enterprise Network Infrastructure
