Job Title: IT Infrastructure Architect

Job Description:

Sika Gesellschaften in der Schweiz is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our global IT headquarters in Zurich. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing new IT infrastructure solutions that support our business growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services for ICT projects and support the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain the target ICT architecture in line with our IT strategy.
  • Conduct requirements analysis in collaboration with business units.
  • Perform market analysis and evaluate new technologies and solutions.
  • Maintain and update the IT infrastructure roadmap.
  • Prepare and present decision-making documents and concepts.
  • Support and advise business units in the evaluation and implementation of IT products or SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain, service, and further develop the global EAM tool.
  • Lead or co-lead IT infrastructure projects or subprojects.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Maintain and update the IT architecture community.
  • Communicate the ICT architecture.
  • Represent the IT infrastructure service line within the Enterprise Architecture Team.

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in IT, including several years of professional experience in the IT infrastructure field, or a university degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: IT architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF).
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and Azure Cloud Services.
  • Experience in managing medium to large IT infrastructure projects.
  • Confident and audience-appropriate presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various hierarchical levels.
  • Experience in designing, planning, and implementing new IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with IT architecture platforms (EAM) for documenting the IT landscape.
  • Experience with Microsoft platforms (On-Premise & Cloud).
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured work approach.
  • High level of initiative and independence.
  • Empathy and ability to understand the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Service- and solution-oriented personality with a customer-friendly attitude.
  • Persuasive personality with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent command of both German and English (oral and written).
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
