Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Manager to join our team at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-class hotel and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead the Front Office team and provide first-line support to all colleagues.
  • To ensure the highest standards of professionalism and service quality among the Front Office Agents through leadership, training, and development.
  • To create and monitor duty rosters and implement strategic holiday planning to maintain smooth operations.
  • To set and achieve departmental goals while adhering to Mandarin Oriental's quality standards.
  • To optimize efficient guest-oriented workflows in collaboration with various departments within the property.
  • To monitor review platforms and handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • To ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes for all guests.
  • To welcome, assist, and coordinate the needs of regular guests, VIPs, and other hotel guests to the highest standard.
  • To guide and support team members in fulfilling guest requests, including billing inquiries or local recommendations.
  • To collect and analyze guest preferences to anticipate and provide personalized service.
  • To supervise and support reservation processes as needed.
Requirements
  • The ability to manage high volume tasks with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A professional and confidential approach at all times.
  • An analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English languages.
