Job Summary

Axpo Group is seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Specialist to join its corporate communications team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the company's media relations, developing and implementing effective communication strategies, and representing the company's interests in the media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers.
  • Respond to media inquiries and requests for information, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Develop and implement media relations strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation.
  • Represent the company in media interviews, press conferences, and other public events.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement internal and external communication strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and opportunities for the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong media relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools.
