Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to Axpo's corporate communications efforts, ensuring effective and uniform messaging across various platforms in collaboration with your team.
- Assume the role of chief editor on assigned days, overseeing the communication strategies of the entire Axpo Group.
- Collaborate with a colleague to manage communications in the nuclear energy sector, maintaining ongoing interactions with specialists and ensuring comprehensive internal and external communications (including media relations, editorial functions, and issues management).
- Serve as the media representative for nuclear energy, assisting colleagues during public engagements.
- Facilitate clear and transparent communication regarding the Beznau nuclear power facility, regularly liaising with regulatory bodies and stakeholders in the vicinity.
- Advocate for Axpo's communication objectives within associations and committees, playing a significant role in shaping the communication landscape of the nuclear energy sector in Switzerland.
- Oversee content management for the internal communication platform of the Beznau nuclear power plant and coordinate Townhall meetings.
- A strong enthusiasm for the intricacies of energy supply and a desire to convey the significance and technology of nuclear energy to a wider audience.
- A degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, with experience in journalism or corporate communications, preferably within the energy sector or critical infrastructure.
- Fluency in German as your native language, with a high proficiency in English.
- Exceptional ability to convey clear and concise messages while simplifying complex subjects.
- A commanding presence when addressing audiences, handling microphones, and engaging with media.
- Proven capability to manage substantial communication initiatives, demonstrating resilience and assertiveness.
