**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Energy Communications Manager to join our team at Axpo Group. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our nuclear energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and industry partners.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of nuclear energy communications, including media relations, crisis communications, and issues management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communication strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on nuclear energy communications and reputation management.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the nuclear energy sector, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging issues, and provide recommendations for communication strategies to address these issues.
- Manage and maintain a robust media relations program, including media outreach, press releases, and media training.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive issues management program to address potential crises and reputational risks.
- Collaborate with the internal communications team to develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote company culture.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's brand and reputation, and provide recommendations for communication strategies to enhance and protect the brand.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on nuclear energy or a related industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations and crisis communications skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
