Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at IQ PLUS AG. As a key member of our IT support group, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our end-users, ensuring seamless productivity and efficiency across the organization.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for Level 2 technical issues related to company-provided hardware, software, and local infrastructure components. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems, collaborating with other IT teams, and escalating issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and professional technical support to end-users via phone, email, or on-site visits
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems using industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring technical issues
  • Maintain accurate records of technical incidents and requests using our ticketing system
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar technical support role, preferably in a larger enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with local networking (LAN/WiFi) or Microsoft server environments is an asset
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework and ITSM tool (ServiceNow)
  • A strong educational background in Informatics or a related field
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with VIPs
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German and French is an advantage
