About the Role

Daiichi Sankyo Europe is seeking a highly qualified Key Account Manager Oncology to join our team in Romandy/Ticino. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and achieving performance targets in the Oncology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit Oncologists and Gyneco-Oncologists to communicate product information and build strong relationships.
  • Develop and implement integrated account plans to maximize territory sales and achieve performance KPIs.
  • Coordinate the deployment of resources locally within the framework of a local cross-functional Account Plan to prepare the launch of our new Oncology asset.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new and existing Oncology business opportunities on territory to drive demand sales.
  • Utilize KAM selling skills and understanding to secure Oncology business for a mutually beneficial outcome for Daiichi Sankyo, alliance partners, and customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with identified target stakeholders based on trust and perceived added value.
  • Identify and implement scientific projects to establish Daiichi Sankyo as a trusted partner in Oncology and improve patient outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of local projects and events.
  • Cross-functional cooperation with medical, marketing, PR, market access, and other functions.
  • Ensure budget control and monitoring of local activities.

Requirements

  • Medical background or other scientific degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a pharmaceutical representative in Oncology, with previous experience in breast cancer or NSCLC being a plus.
  • Established network and relationships with customers and knowledge of key accounts in the defined sector.
  • Knowledge of the local pharmaceutical industry and legal/health system environment, including pricing, re-imbursement, and access.
  • Proficiency in French and fluency in English.
  • Good MS-Office skills.
  • Independent, dynamic, structured, and committed to working in a matrix team.
  • Strong communication skills and presentation confidence.
  • High self-motivation, assertiveness, and goal orientation.
  • Hands-on mentality.
