Pre-Sales Engineer for Data Center Solutions

Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team at Stone Sourcing AG. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and solutions design in the areas of data center technologies, network transitions, automation, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Design and propose automation strategies using tools like Ansible, Python, and Cisco DNA to streamline network operations and improve service delivery.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (POC) efforts to demonstrate the viability of proposed solutions and prove the value of the recommended approach to clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to articulate the technical benefits of our solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and solution blueprints.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a technical advisor and trusted partner throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or a similar technical role within a data center environment.
  • CCIE or CCNP certification in Data Center, Routing & Switching, or Enterprise Networking.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, UCS, and DNA Center.
  • Hands-on experience with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Python, or Cisco DNA.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
