Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Finance professional to join our team at Ikea. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of new financial systems, providing end-user training, and acting as a super user for financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and collaborate with the project leader and accounting team to implement new financial systems and upgrades.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training programs to ensure seamless adoption of new systems.
  • Act as a super user for financial systems, providing technical expertise and support to end-users.
  • Assist with testing and validation of new finance software, interfaces, and processes.
  • Support accounting with various closing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of accounting and financial processes, with a strong understanding of financial systems and software.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong technical ability to understand and navigate complex IT landscapes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Service-minded, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Investigative and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
