The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Finance Business Analyst to join our global team in Basel. As an IT Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our finance operations, working with cutting-edge SAP technologies and driving impactful solutions that keep us at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Process Improvement: Lead the review and harmonization of global financial processes using SAP S4, driving innovative IT solutions that streamline and elevate our operations.
  • Solution Design and Configuration: Play a key role in end-to-end solution design, configuration, and integration, ensuring seamless operations across SAP FICO and other finance applications like Basware and Concur.
  • User Support and Innovation: Provide expert user support while developing and implementing technology strategies that align with our global finance roadmap.
  • Process Optimization: Use your strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and ensure quality control throughout implementation.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with international teams and stakeholders, leading design workshops, planning sessions, and driving cross-functional projects to success.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO modules and at least 2 years in SAP S4 project implementation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP S4 configurations, financial processes, and integration points, plus hands-on experience with tools like Basware and Concur.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead projects, facilitate workshops, and manage stakeholder relationships, all while maintaining a clear focus on business outcomes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for building quick rapport with global teams and end users.
  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, ensuring we stay ahead in a fast-paced industry.
