Job Title: Transportation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team at the Swatch Group Services LTD. As a key member of our Eulog Services division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional logistics support to our Swatch Group watch brands and country subsidiaries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a single point of contact for daily operational requests from our Swatch Group watch brands and country subsidiaries.
  • Care and troubleshoot daily operations to support our European Distribution Center and countries.
  • Monitor transport activities from our distribution center and ensure a smooth information flow between all stakeholders.
  • Behave as a specialist of transportation for delivery and return experience.
  • Challenge current processes with the project team to improve operations efficiency and delivered service quality.
  • Operate daily actionable dashboards to monitor activities and extract insights to feed decision makers, project team, and stakeholders in a continuous improvement approach.
  • Behave as a team member of European, International transportation, and Export for daily operations and analysis.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and experience.

Requirements

  • Federal Certificate of competences (CFC), Degree or Bachelor in the field of economic, commercial, business administration, supply chain management, or equivalent with several years of experience.
  • Experience in issuing e-dec reports, certificates of origin, claims monitoring, and making export closure for the export team.
  • IATA compliant: creation of Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD) for airfreight (class 9) or wishing to get certified.
  • Competent handling of MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, Outlook).
  • Hands-on mindset with operational skills.
  • Experience with ticketing tools, customer care, or order management systems is an advantage.
  • Team player, high level of social competence.
  • Assertiveness skills.
  • Positive attitude and motivated to work in a fast-changing environment with high expectations.
  • Client-oriented, pro-active, and solution-driven profile.
  • Previous experience at carrier as transit agent or import/export agent is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP (SD/MM) or a comparable system is an advantage.

Professional Requirements

  • Experienced in operations: import/export, transit, eCommerce shipments, BtoB shipments.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and German.
  • French or another language is a plus.
