Product Owner/Business Analyst

At ALSO, we are seeking an experienced IT professional to take on the responsibilities of a Product Owner/Business Analyst and contribute to the dynamic team's success in driving the development and scaling of our product.

The ideal candidate will be based in Germany or Portugal and will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of product feature/business process expansion and harmonization within ALSO.
  • Performing discovery and fit-gap analysis between different systems and business processes.
  • Proposing and scaling different components for each business process purpose, managing and controlling rollout.
  • Taking ownership of release management and support for expansion and feature rollouts.
  • Owning the process of launching and scaling products in existing ALSO countries and expanding into new countries.
  • Coordinating scaling initiatives with different stakeholders and functional departments.
  • Participating in the product ownership team and driving product discovery, development, rollout, and measurement.
  • Managing and communicating the strategic product roadmap based on customer and market needs.
  • Acknowledging and establishing measurements for the current product state.
  • Introducing tools and measurements for product management metric tracking.
  • Driving roadmap quarterly plannings involving business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Providing regular reporting of delivery and product state to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring product quality by monitoring the product state and creating reports.
  • Identifying areas for improvement, developing strategies, and executing business initiatives to increase customer reach.
  • Collaborating with development, design, UX, marketing, and other teams to ensure the platform's features are delivered effectively.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Experience with business flow drawing tools.
  • Experience performing fit-gap analysis for choosing products for specific business processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with decisions based on data.
  • Experience with product measurement tools is an advantage.
  • Experience as a business analyst is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, market trends, and company objectives.
  • Experience with platform development, integration, and scalability.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
