About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Business Development Director to join our team at Michael Page Switzerland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating sophisticated multi-jurisdictional international client relationships while actively driving new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies
    • Define and implement the future vision and strategy for business development in Switzerland and neighboring jurisdictions.
    • Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
  • Maintain Positive Client Relationships
    • Maintain positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.
    • Generate new business growth through network development, new client acquisition, client retention, and sales campaign.
  • Identify and Assess New Market Opportunities
    • Identify and assess new market opportunities and potential acquisition targets.
    • Work closely with senior team members to identify and manage business development risks.
  • Lead and Manage Projects
    • Arrange and conduct meetings with clients, professional intermediaries, and relationship managers across different jurisdictions.
    • Assist prospective clients with the establishment of sophisticated corporate and fiduciary structures.
    • Prepare new business proposals and support colleagues in the development of new business.
    • Manage and lead related projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration, or related field.
    • Proven experience as Client Solutions Executive over multiple jurisdictions (minimum of 7-10 years practical work experience).
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Good knowledge of the international tax and regulatory environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of the financial and management industry's standards, legal & regulations.
    • Experience in tactical sale strategies to promote business growth.
    • Experience in leading a team, setting goals, monitoring progress, and enforcing employee development programs.
    • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative skills to evaluate new business opportunities.
    • Pro-active, rigorous, and strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
