Director of Evaluation

Job Summary
The Director of Evaluation will provide strategic leadership to the work of the Evaluation Office, developing and directing a coordinated programme of evaluation. The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of evaluation experience, with five years at the senior management level, and will be able to advise senior officials and lead a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and direct a coordinated programme of evaluation, aligning with WHO's key strategic instruments.
- Oversee the implementation of the Framework for strengthening evaluation and organizational learning.
- Ensure appropriate use of evaluation findings to promote organizational learning.
- Inform senior management of evaluation results and present recommendations.
- Manage personnel and provide guidance to staff.
- Represent the Organization in matters related to evaluation and organizational learning.
Requirements
- Advanced level university degree in social sciences, public health or related field.
- At least 15 years of evaluation experience, with five years at the senior management level.
- Substantial experience in advising senior officials.
- Proven experience in managing and mobilizing financial and human resources.
- International experience.
