Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a global communications strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of communications professionals to create and disseminate high-quality content across various channels, including traditional media, social media, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and subject matter experts to develop key messaging and communications materials that support our advocacy efforts.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including media, influencers, and partners.
- Oversee the development and implementation of crisis communications plans and protocols.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the Executive Director and other senior leaders on communications-related matters.
- Advanced university degree in communications, international relations, management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in global communications, policy advocacy, and campaigning, with a strong track record of leading large-scale communications efforts.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective communications strategies that drive results and support organizational goals.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of communications professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and messages in a clear and concise manner.
