Overview

As Market Lead Director Opzelura for Europe, you will drive European strategy and optimize the value of the Opzelura brand within the region. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and affiliate teams to achieve commercial and marketing objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for Opzelura in Europe, ensuring alignment with global product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Lead launch readiness strategies for Opzelura across all indications, working closely with country brand teams.
  • Represent Incyte IAI in commercial and marketing interactions with external stakeholders, ensuring European needs are considered.
  • Contribute to global product positioning and pricing strategies, ensuring EU requirements are represented.
  • Lead the European Opzelura brand team and provide guidance to affiliate commercial and marketing colleagues.
  • Build strong brand beliefs across all functions and ensure internal communications reflect this.
  • Monitor brand dynamics and performance, making adjustments to marketing mix levers to enhance growth.
  • Lead Opzelura forecasting of EU sales in coordination with Commercial Operations and country BUDs/GMs.
  • Work with manufacturing and supply chain to optimize product packaging as a premium brand in the topical space.
  • Ensure commercial input into distribution channels, SKU choices, and supply chain volumes align with forecast and launch timelines.
  • Provide insights to Global Analytics on market research needs for Europe and support regional market research activities in coordination with Commercial Operations.
  • Ensure systematic collection, interpretation, and sharing of competitive intelligence at congresses and more broadly.
  • Develop and implement regional activities, such as campaigns, materials, and e-marketing, in coordination with EU Events and country teams.
  • Lead working relationships with creative agencies and supporting 3rd party commercial vendors.
  • Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses, assessing the marketing mix to evaluate ROI.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company compliance standards.
  • Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.
  • Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines.

Requirements

  • University degree in Science and/or degree in Business.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals sales and marketing.
  • Experience in dermatology and/or immunology.
  • Country Brand Management and Key Account Manager experience.
  • EU and/or multi-country experience.
  • Proven track record of achievements in sales and marketing.
  • Experience in cross-functional/matrix management.
  • Proven ability to take the lead on projects and drive them to successful completion.
  • Office-based in Morges, Switzerland.
  • 30-35% travel anticipated.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Other language abilities are a plus.
