As we expand our operations in Europe, we are seeking a forward-thinking, creative, and entrepreneurial EHS Corporate Manager to lead our efforts in creating a sustainable, safe, and health-conscious work environment.

**Position Overview**:
Are you ready to shape the future of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) within a dynamic biotech organization? As our Corporate EHS & Facility Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to sustainability and safety while supporting our growth and expansion in Europe.

This position is based in the Incyte European HQ (Morges) and reports to the Director Facilities, Europe.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Visionary initiatives and guidance**:

- Develop and articulate a forward-thinking EHS strategy aligned with global and European standards.
- Cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit within the EHS team, fostering innovation and creativity in addressing EHS challenges.

**2. Sustainable Operations**:

- Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact through sustainable practices, resource conservation, and emissions reduction.
- Establish eco-friendly practices in our corporate offices in Europe (Headquarter in Switzerland and affiliates in Europe).

**3. Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay current with evolving European and international EHS regulations and ensure the company's adherence to all requirements.
- Act as a liaison with local regulatory agencies to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships.

**4. Risk Management**:

- Identify potential EHS risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain crisis response and emergency preparedness plans to protect our employees and assets.

**5. Cultural Change and Training**:

- Instill a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and wellness within the organization.
- Provide EHS training programs and workshops for employees at all levels, encouraging active participation.

**6. Data-Driven Decision-Making**:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data analytics to measure EHS performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Generate insightful reports for senior management to support informed decision-making.

**7. Sustainability Initiatives**:

- Drive sustainability programs that align with the company's core values, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and green procurement.

**8. Facility Management**:

- Provide technical Facilities services to internal customers by identifying, analyzing and resolving business issues / requests autonomously.
- Manage budgets and resources for the building technical team and ensure accurate and timely indicators and KPIs.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities to improve processes and effectiveness according to business needs.
- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with key internal customers, business units and colleagues to develop constructive relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in EHS management.
- Experience in a pharma company and/or multinational is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of European and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire change and foster an entrepreneurial EHS culture.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- EHS certifications (e.g., CSP) are desirable.
- High proficiency of Microsoft Office and other EHS relevant software. ARCHIBUS a plus.
- Fluent in French and English, other European language a plus.
