**What you’ll do**:
Eaton is looking for a leading digital and systems thinker, with a proved record of execution within the business-to-business environment, and able to operate within a matrixed environment. As our growth objectives are aggressive, this role will need to act with high energy and agility.

As part of our Eaton’s energy transition journey, this role will lead the transformation to lifecycle solutions based offerings for end-customers, with a focus on outcome based value delivery, recurring revenue creation and maximining customer value and Eaton revenue in the EMEA region. In close collaboration with GPL stakeholders, this role will lead across divisions, businesses and functions to oversee the entire product development life cycle—from the ideation through development, pricing, delivery, and support of the offering in the market through an agile business model.
- Develop matrixed organization across businesses and functions to cover all aspects of the lifecycle
- Work with Business Development to define the business issue / opportunity and the lifecycle journey needed of the decision makers within the Business customer we are serving for each of the designated systems-subsystems. Use Voice of Market/Voice of Customer to capture market inputs
- Facilitate and design complete business models for the designated Systems or Subsystems (such as Substation Retrofit) Fulfill all of the Building Blocks: Design and monitor execution of each aspect of the Value Proposition within the System (Hardware, Software, Services), and drive alignment with Business units and product managers; Perform gap analysis of value proposition within the designated system based on Eaton’s current portfolio and portfolio of established ecosystem partners; Translate gaps into product / service specific requirements; Recommend best way to address gap (build, buy, partner, ecosystem); Oversee development process of product / service
- Design, Encompass and Execute each moment of the lifecycle customer journey to support the delivery of the value proposition: 1) Define Acquisition and Utilization Cycles, 2) ) Determine best ways to ensure Recurring Revenue including the use of alternative financing models and alternative business models such as XaaS
- Determine go-to-market strategy to develop and launch new or improved offer: Determine cycle of minimum viable product, piloting, learning to expedite release of version 1 - Use Agile methods; Develop more solution orientated selling skills and people to move the conversation closer to the C-Suite; Engage and leverage local country sales organization and markets to execute along the maturing process of the offer
- Facilitate & Manage matrixed organization consisting of energy transition resources
- Partner with Services on delivering incremental service revenue via digital enabled services per profit plan
- Lead division marketing efforts and resources to support go-to-market, engagement and launch strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in business management or strategy experience, preferably including introduction of new business models and business transformation, and/or strategy development
- 5+ years in managing people
- Understanding lifecyle management and digital and digitally enabled solutions
- Previous sales experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing business strategy, planning, and budgeting.
- Excellent executive level communications and presentation skills
- Experience leading complex programs in a matrix environment
- Strong influencing skills
- Proven Leadership skills - capability of leading change in an integrated team environment across multiple teams
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
