Back Office Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Back Office Specialist to join our team at Evooq, a global provider of technology-driven solutions for wealth managers. This role will play a key part in supporting the onboarding of new clients onto our dedicated IAM platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-office operations and be fluent in English and German, with Swiss German being an asset.

About the Role
  • Support the onboarding of new clients by migrating their portfolios onto the IAM platform in collaboration with the Onboarding Project Manager.
  • Daily reconciliation of clients' portfolios based on data feeds from custodians and manual data capture of positions and transactions.
  • Carry out reconciliation analysis and troubleshooting to resolve any issues on clients' accounts.
  • Manage relationships with third parties, such as custodian banks.
  • Liaise with clients via different channels and act as primary point of contact for all their back office-related issues.
  • Contribute to improving procedures and policies that are outdated or ineffective.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in back-office or middle-office operations (including reconciliations across all asset classes) of a Private Bank, Independent Asset Manager or Fund Management Company.
  • Broad knowledge of Wealth Management & Asset Management activities.
  • Ability to perform technical responsibilities with high competence.
  • Professionalism, hands-on approach, and positive work ethic.
  • Able to multitask and work to deadlines.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and German, with Swiss German being a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of CHF 80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
