Head of Portfolio Management

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our portfolio management function in the non-life business of Helvetia Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a technical portfolio management framework, monitoring and supporting the implementation of portfolio management processes in our market units, and providing expertise on portfolio management methodology and dimensions.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a technical portfolio management framework for the non-life business.
  2. Monitor and support the implementation of portfolio management processes in our market units.
  3. Provide expertise on portfolio management methodology and dimensions.
  4. Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks of portfolios in our market units and initiate corresponding measures.
  5. Manage and coordinate processes between market units and the Group relating to portfolio management.
  6. Develop and manage an international team.

About You

We are looking for an established leader with broad experience in direct and indirect leadership, many years of experience in managing underwriting portfolios, and a track record in profitability and portfolio management of insurance portfolios. You should have a reflective and communicative personality with a multi-dimensional understanding of success and be skilled in maintaining relationships across different levels and countries.
