Insurance Portfolio Manager

Your Role
As a Portfolio Manager for Non-Life Business, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of technical portfolio management frameworks to drive business growth and profitability within Helvetia Group's non-life insurance operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust portfolio management framework to optimize risk and returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of portfolio management processes.
- Provide expert advice on portfolio structure, methodology, and quantitative and qualitative dimensions.
- Identify key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks, and implement corresponding measures to enhance portfolio performance.
- Support coordination of processes between market units and the Group to ensure seamless portfolio management.
- Manage interfaces with specialist units and market units to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Long-term experience in managing underwriting portfolios, preferably in portfolio management or actuarial functions within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- A track record of profitability and portfolio management excellence across the entire insurance cycle.
- A reflective and communicative personality with a multi-dimensional understanding of success.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across different levels and countries.
- International mobility, with a willingness to travel in Europe (30% of the time).
- Proficiency in German, English, and Spanish, with French and/or Italian being an asset.
