We are seeking a skilled Traffic- / Logistics Officer to join our team at Strauss Commodities AG. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations.

  • Logistics Operations: You will be responsible for coordinating shipments from the port of origin to the port of destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Service Provider Collaboration: You will work closely with service providers, including shipping lines, freight-pooling services, couriers, forwarding agents, warehouses, and carriers, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Delivery Coordination: You will coordinate deliveries between suppliers/warehouses and Group roasting factories, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Document Verification: You will verify and approve shipping documents, including all supplier invoices, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Intercompany Invoicing: You will be responsible for intercompany invoicing, including issuing invoices, dispatch of documents, debit-/credit notes, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Freight Invoice Management: You will check and control freight invoices and logistics costs, ensuring that they are accurate and compliant with company policies.

Your Background:

  • Experience: You will have experience in Traffic-/Logistics operations, preferably with a logistics management degree.
  • Personality: You will have a structured and reliable personality, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You will have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: You will have sound MS Office skills and be proficient in using logistics software and systems.
  • Language Skills: You will be a fluent English and German speaker, with excellent communication skills.
