Traffic- / Logistics Officer

As per September 2024 we are looking for a Traffic- / Logistics Officer preferable with experience in the Soft Commodity Sector to join us for one full year. We are a small team of 9 people located in Zug within walking distance from the railway station.
Your daily tasks will be:
- Execution in terms of logistics (shipments from port of origin to port of destination)
- Collaboration with service providers (shipping lines, freight-pooling services, couriers, forwarding agents, warehouses, carriers, etc)
- Coordination of deliveries between suppliers/warehouses and Group roasting factories
- Verification and approval of shipping documents, including all supplier invoices
- In charge of intercompany invoicing (issuing invoices, dispatch of documents, debit-/credit notes)
- Check and control freight invoices and logistics costs
Your background:
- Experience in Traffic-/Logistics operations, preferably with logistic management degree
- Structured and reliable personality with ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- Sound MS Office skills
- Fluent English and German speaker
