**About the Role**
We are looking to fill a Business Manager role, with Financial / Asset Management background, joining the Middle Office Business Units & Investment Process team.
In this role, you will support Swiss Re's Asset-Liability Matching (ALM) process by managing the risk-budgeting infrastructure comprised of investment portfolios and benchmarks. You will have a full end-to-end overview of how Swiss Re Asset Management (AM) uses the capital markets to offset financial risks associated with insurance and reinsurance policies. You will also learn about SR's investment process and gain a high-level understanding of many AM back and front office activities.
Your key accountabilities may include:
- Build and maintain the portfolio and risk pillar infrastructure by managing data in master data systems and cooperation with system administrators
- Validate day over day changes in the investment portfolio (market value, interest rate/spread sensitivity, duration moves etc.)
- Prepare and coordinate asset transfers/business shifts between investment portfolios belonging to external or internal Legal Entities
- Collaborate with external and internal counterparties with regards to implementation and calibration of investment benchmarks
- Assist crafting reports detailing investment position across business segments and legal entities

**About the Team**
As the AM division, we invest assets generated from our core business. We are an international team having foothold in Zurich, London, New York and Bratislava. We support the AM front office teams in many ways. However, most of our activities lean towards Risk Monitoring, Static Data Maintenance & Financial Data Quality, Reporting, and Business projects coordination. In addition, we act as point of contact between front office and back office to ensure the best outcome for the implementation of business decisions.
You will be working with high-potential employees in close interaction with other financial market professionals from the various investment teams.

**About You**
- Minimum: bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics or Business Administration and professional experience
- Solid financial background, preferably experience in a similar position/environment
- Know-how of the financial markets in general and the Asset Management industry in particular
- Experience working with and understanding financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, cash, private equity, etc.)
- Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and solid understanding of investment management processes and issues
- Strong trouble shooter with an analytical and problem-solving mind-set
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
