**About the role**:
Based out of our HQ in Zürich, Switzerland, in this role you will have the opportunity to work with a highly engaged team to bring an innovative product to customers in south and eastern Germany in Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries. The role suits a professional highly passionate about the environment and technology and who will work to:
- Identify and actively acquire new customers and prioritize accounts and opportunities to produce the best sales and profitability results
- Develop and retain relationships with clients in our target segments in the assigned region with the target to grow business within accounts and to generate references
- Perform on-site demos and build relationships on all levels
- Maintain a high awareness of gas leak detection market trends and the competition, their strengths, weaknesses, sales and marketing methods & shares this information with internal stakeholders
- Plan, organize and implement marketing actions, participate on exhibitions and conferences
- Collaborate with a multi-functional team based at the Swiss headquarter in Zurich
- Responsible for data accuracy, CRM, activity reports and quotations
- Shaping strategy and proposal towards the top management
- Maintain standard periodically reporting performance on business
**Your profile**:
- Degree in Engineering or Chemistry - further education and experience in Sales and Marketing is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a SMB selling CAPEX, and possibly NDT (non-destructive testing devices)
- Desire to grow professionally within a global team
- Experience in either Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemistry, Power Generation, Construction, Machinery, Steel or Shipping industry
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good computer skills and experience working with a CRM
- Fluent in English and German (verbal and writing)
- Willingness to travel on business (60%)
