**The Opportunity**

As a Re/Insurance Internal Auditor in the EMEA Chapter, your will participate in various audit activities, with a focus on reinsurance and/or insurance. You will be challenged to learn new areas of Swiss Re, to assess the effectiveness of the relevant processes and controls. This role is an opportunity to deal with themes that have group-wide organizational impact and driving risk culture.

**How you can make an impact?**
- Owning audit delivery within an agile audit team and demonstrating leadership; your key tasks will be to identify key risks, assess the design of business processes, define and agree the scope of the audit together with GIA management and business partners, and to provide clear audit issues to Senior Management
- Contributing to the development potential analytical tests to assess control related outcomes and employing data hypotheses to test data sets
- Building and maintaining business partner relationships and contributing the team's continuous risk assessment work in an ever evolving risk landscape. Collaborating with other assurance functions
- Participating in local, regional and global audits, positively impacting the other GIA Chapters and using your areas of expertise to contribute effectively to GIA's audit plan
- Participating in GIA's critical initiatives and projects as opportunities arise.

**Who we are looking for?**

You are curious, think creatively and critically, generate innovative ideas, and deliver effectively with what can often be ambiguous requirements

In addition, you are passionate about innovation and transformation including but not limited to data analytics.

Furthermore:

- At least 3-4 years of work experience relating to audit or compliance functions (Governance role, Risk Management or Compliance)
- Knowledge of key risks facing Reinsurance, direct/primary insurance or risk tech companies is an advantage.
- Clear and effective communication on various levels
- Ability to appreciate the big picture as well as the details, to tackle problems and get things done
- Qualified or working towards a CPA, CA, CIA or professional certification (preferred)
- University degree (preferred).
