**Role Purpose**:
In this role, you will be part of the team which has a focus on the following regions; France, BeNeLux, Germany and Switzerland. You will be involved in underwriting different products across Property and Casualty lines of business with a focus on long tail classes to execute our strategy in these regions.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Underwrite and price Property & Casualty business in France, BeNeLux, Germany and Switzerland.
- Analyse underwriting submission and reinsurance structures with the aim to develop solutions in collaboration with Underwriters, Brokers and Clients.
- Manage a portfolio of profitable business in the team with the focus on long-tail lines of business.
- Develop and execute on a business plan together with the team.
- Marketing of Everest Re in the specific regions including regular travel.
- Contribute to group projects in cross functional and international teams.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Property and/or Casualty business.
- In-depth knowledge of longtail classes of business will be an asset.
- Market knowledge and experience in any of the focussed regions.
- Experience from a Reinsurance background in a Pricing or Underwriting position.
- Strong communicator and a team player.
- Flexible and open to change.
- Microsoft Office skills and the ability to understand and use in-house pricing tools
- Proficiency in English, French and German. Other languages are a benefit.
- Willingness to travel.
