**Events Coordinator (100%)**

**The job's mission**

The Events Coordinator is the first point of contact for its event guests. Therefore, the person contribute highly to the success of IMD and the client experience. In this role, you will report to the Operations Resources Manager and work closely with him/her in coordinating a portfolio of events, ensuring the smooth running of different types of internal and external events.

**Key activities & accountabilities**
- Supervise and coordinate events in different formats, whether face to face, virtual or hybrid
- Be accountable to the event owner, whether internal or external
- Organize event & workshop logistics from planning to preparation to delivery
- Ensure all details related to the events are prepared and troubleshoot technological aspects when required
- Provide support to guests during the whole length of the event (during program delivery, face to face on or off campus and virtual, some weekend work, evenings and/or possible travel required)
- Work closely with both internal stakeholders (all departments at IMD) and external stakeholders (partners, clients, suppliers, etc.)
- Contribute to events operations process improvement
- Support the Program Planning Team in other tasks
- Occiasionally assist or coordinate on line, face to face or hybrid programs should workload allow

**Ideal profile**

**Education**
- Bachelor in hospitality management, tourism, marketing or equivalent

**Experience & Competencies**
- Strong experience in a customer relations role
- Experience working in an international environment
- Varied events experience - small and large events
- Computer literate (MS Office necessary, CRM and Event platforms are a plus)
- Tech savvy - ability to work with virtual conference tools (zoom, X2O, Miro, etc), able to trouble shoot technical issues.
- Fluent in English and French; any additional language is an asset
- Proven organization and administration skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in an independent manner
- Open-minded and with a strong team spirit
- Excellent communication skills, customer-focused and diplomatic
- Stress management, customer-oriented, professional
- Time management, organization and logistics skills
- Strong sense of responsibility with a proactive and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends when required
