**Senior Manager - Self Care Materials Management**

For our Self Care business unit (Consumer medicinal products), we are recruiting a Senior Manager - Self Care Materials Management. This role will have the responsibility of driving robust materials management programs across three internal manufacturing sites, and a wide network of external manufacturers.

In our current complex supply chain context, material supply readiness is a key competitive advantage and will be crucial as we establish our New Consumer Health Company (Kenvue, the planned New Consumer Health Company). We are implementing this role to lift capabilities, drive a proactive approach, and make a significant step change in outcomes for our customers.

The individual will drive safety stock strategies, establish and drive BCP and dual source strategies for key suppliers, and improve the way of working and digitization of our various Materials Management teams and their work flows. Scope is inclusive of API, raw materials, and packaging materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive Materials Management Strategy for Self Care (Consumer Medicinal Products) supply chain, optimizing/ balancing inventory levels with reliability.
- Identify key category challenges across sites, partner with sourcing team to identify proactive solutions to drive reliability of material supply.
- Drive the agenda of dual sourcing materials for key materials. Partner with value stream leads and other supply chain colleagues to highlight priorities and develop the roadmap. The Materials Management leader will drive the execution and track progress, ensure key BCP projects are completed, and verify that safety stock builds have been fully realized where required.
- Highlight and drive material management strategies that move beyond stock builds - including influencing source business partners to implement alternate distributor models, consignment, and call-off strategies.
- Provide oversight and connectivity with our materials management teams that work within our manufacturing sites
- harmonizing ways of working and driving efficiencies across sites.
- Partner with Plan, Make, Source, Quality, and other members of the E2E self care leadership team to drive improved outcomes in reliability.
- Influence and partner with manufacturing teams to secure new storage space options, when required.
- Drive excellence in Materials management within our External Manufacturing Partnerships - which will require influencing, coaching, and architecting new ways of working for both companies operating teams.
- Drive and support the digitization of the materials management space - moving the teams from highly manual work to digitally-enabled capabilities.

**Required Experience**:

- 8-10 years working experience in a large international company performing various functions within supply chain.
- Experience partnering with external supply sites, working within terms of contracts, while expanding expectations of "what good looks like"
- Experienced people leader that continuously develops the individuals and supports personal growth.
- Experience improving employee engagement and increasing job satisfaction
- Track record of influencing others without direct authority at multiple levels.
- Proven experience in shaping teams and ways of working to deliver improved and sustainable results and outcomes.
- Experience evolving in a large organization, leverage local and regional colleagues to achieve objectives
- Proven strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

- Strong people management expertise and cross-functional business sense, ability to lead agile working teams with quick turnarounds, high visibility, and strong outcomes orientation
- Ability to drive and shape change in ways of working vs. legacy progresses, bring teams along change curve
- Strong communication skills, particularly summarizing complex detail into executive summaries for leadership

**Qualifications**

**Relevant Qualifications**:

- Broad experience in source, plan, make or functional expertise in materials management
- 10 -15 years of experience in various supply chain functions.
- Fluent in Spoken and Written English
