**IS Department Manager - Technical Risk Management**:

Global IS Dept Manager Information Security

**Your responsibilities**:

- Scope: Collaborates with the Corporate IS Information Security, IS Consumer Excellence, IS Capabilities, IS Domains, Business IS and 3rd Party IS Suppliers to ensure understanding of existing business requirements, new service demand, and security design and roadmap
- Delivers and continuously improves maturity of security vulnerability management services across the ABB Group within budgeted costs and time schedule
- Implements effective interfaces between local/corporate IS teams for all security vulnerability reduction activities and, where required, ensures adherence to demands in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), and that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met. Implements department’s practice expertise leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality
- Provides timely and accurate reporting for all security services delivery to Senior Management and various Corporate IS or Business IS functions
- Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationship with key stakeholders in Corporate IS Functions, Business IS and IS Services. Ensures that tracking and monitoring of performance of service delivery through all channels (human, digital, self-service, automated) is carried out, metrics and reports are analyzed, and issues are resolved to meet agreed service levels
- Assures that the quality of the services delivered by suppliers meets contractual commitments and business needs. Manages risks associated with information security, continuity, and integrity of supply
- Governance: Establishes and monitors a comprehensive risk focused monitoring metrics to ensure efficient delivery of security services meeting business requirements
- Develops and maintains process for interaction and communication between Corporate IS, Business IS, IS Services esp. IS Domains to enable risk-based decisions
- Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specification
- Strategy: Ensures that security services are aligned to Information Security design and roadmap as published by Corporate IS Information Security
- Participates in technological strategy development and planning to ensure build in security. Constantly improves Security Operations Center services and solutions to provide better security protection, incident detection and response across the ABB landscape
- Standards/IS Compliance: Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job
- Is responsible to act in compliance with Corporate IS Regulation and IS Policies; with ABB Regulations and ABB Guidelines of which accountability and responsibility for this position are derived; and with any other Internal Control regulations that may be assigned
- Processes: Collaborates with Corporate IS,IS Domains and Business IS to understand related business process demand to existing or new relevant IS solutions
- Establishes processes identifying non-compliance with ABB Group Regulations and Information Security Management System requirements implementation across ABB businesses, corporate functions and IS Services
- People Leadership: Manages senior security professionals and groups. Determines and delegates management responsibilities. Sets performance objectives, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria
- Initiates, develops, and monitors effective performance management processes. Sets the example for proactively building working relationships within the team, Corporate IS, GBS IS Domains, Businesses and Consumers
- Provides coaching and support and delegates responsibilities where possible, to achieve corporate goals. Provides mentoring to direct reports and senior experts in consideration of their career opportunities and contribution to the organization objectives. Executes formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures
- Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related qualific
