As a IS Department Manager - Infosec Service Management and Effectiveness, accountable for effectiveness & cross-departmental coordination of security services, leading the Global InfoSec Service Management and Effectiveness Department. Through the delivery engine of insights & analytics, they warrant business value consistently impacting service quality. They develop and maintain a global team of security experts, ensuring reliable and modern services and solutions are delivered to the business. They promote and communicate the vision and outcomes of the InfoSec Service, and maximize associated benefits.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Scope: Accountability for effectiveness & cross-departmental coordination of security services
- Ensures proper dashboards and reports for effective consumption by various leadership levels
- Leading the Global InfoSec Service Management and Effectiveness Department
- Warranting business value consistently impacting service quality via the delivery engine of insights & analytics
- Developing and maintaining a global team of security experts, ensuring reliable and modern services and solutions are delivered to the business
- Promoting and communicating the vision and outcomes of the InfoSec Service
- Maximizing associated benefits
- Ensuring efficient escalation layers, narrowing the potential negative business impacts
- Together with key stakeholders defining the improvement opportunities for the following strategic areas: cost/budget, resources required, schedules
- Strategy:Proactively stays informed about any change in strategy and is consulted regarding any change or other project which might have a major impact on the services, but also pro-grams where needed
- Ensures that all stakeholders adhere to the strategic processes and standards within budget and timetable. Develops and communicates status updates along with strategic changes
- Oversees risks and issues identification across services and portfolios which affect the realization of strategic goals and business benefits
- Contributes to the improvement of policies, standards, and processes
- Stakeholder Management: Serves as the key contact for the security services stakeholders, and as escalation point for identified issues
- Effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve de-sired understanding and support, while managing expectations and relationships and making sure the stakeholders are satisfied with the services quality
- Standards, Governance and IS Compliance:Ensures services within the function follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures
- Ensures appropriate ABB IS standards and methods are followed
- Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specification
- Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job
- Is responsible to act in compliance with Corporate IS Regulation and IS Policies; with ABB Regulations and ABB Guidelines of which accountability and responsibility for this position are derived, and with any other Internal Control regulations that may be assigned
- People Leadership: Coordinates the resources allocated to services within the area, defining main guidelines, and motivating and monitoring internal and/or external resources
- Allocate responsibilities and/or packages of work, including supervisory responsibilities. Dele-gates responsibilities as appropriate. Set performance targets and monitor progress against agreed quality and performance criteria. Provides effective feedback. Proactively ensures effective working relationships within the team and with those whom the team interacts with
- Provides guidance or support to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without carrying line responsibility

**Your background**:

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, Management or equivalent
- 14 years relevant experience required (3 years leadership experience)
