**ELSP Division IS Manager**:

Location: Global. Lead the Information Systems (IS) Function in the Electrification Smart Power Division and ensures effective alignment/ governance cross Division for dimensions the Division is in lead. Collaborates closely with Business Area and other Divisions to ensure effective IS operations. Represent Division IS requirements within the Business Area and Corporate IS and ensures an overall IS operating model business success. Develop IS strategy for the Division based on BA and Corporate IS strategy supporting division strategy and drive implementation. Accountable for developing, implementing, and executing the IS capability within the Division resulting from Business and/or Function demands. The role will report to the Division BL Controller.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Set, develop, and lead strategy, objectives, and targets in alignment with division strategy. Drive the end-to-end service provision (design through delivery), influence and consult with senior management within own Division, within BA and Corporate IS to innovatively ensure effectiveness of own functional area.
- Proactively collaborate with the Business area IS function, division business team, internal and 3rd Party IS Suppliers (as the case may be). Is accountable for delivery of business processes/projects resulting in improved efficiency, effectiveness, quality and/or operational functionality.
- Is accountable for delivery of IS Solution/service/support within own Division supporting execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule. Ensure effective interfaces between all relevant IS teams/corporate IS teams for all IS activities and, where required, ensure demands adherence in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met. Ensure clear responsibilities/ accountabilities of all IS teams involved. In partnership with Division business management, closely collaborate with business area to map business process demand to existing or new IS solutions. Ensure the installation / management / maintenance / optimization of internal IS and cross-functional processes related to IS Service delivery or IS Service demand. Is accountable for development and maintenance of appropriate IS competence within the department, ensuring alignment to given IS goals, and compliance with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, any relevant IS Standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines. Develop, implement, maintain, and execute IS internal standards. Execute, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACIS and LEC specification.
- Lead projects of significant organization profile in own field of expertise and solve critical functional questions/problems across a demanding, broad environment. Prepare annual budgets (APP) for the division in line with Business Area IS requirements and is accountable for their execution and achievement. Monitor specific function-related costs across all countries. Maintain an external awareness and perspective and act as the acknowledged expert, with consulting responsibility on functional area knowledge and trends.
- Define, in close consultation with the Business Area IS Function, Division Management, Countries and Regions, an appropriate organizational structure to support execution of the Division strategy, aligned with the Business Area and corporate goals, imperatives and guidelines. Drive behavioral change to continuously improve function performance through programs and initiatives. Facilitate the sharing of best practices and ensure harmonized and standardized processes throughout the Business Area to deliver consistent support.
- Increase satisfaction with IS services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholders’ perceptions of IS service. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders to update status, resolve issues, and manage expectations. (Stakeholders may be internal to IS or customers from the business). Fully understand the ABB Way of operating and operate IS in close alignments with the divisions across all of Electrification.
