As a IS Security Effectiveness Manager is to ensure the overall effectiveness, financial performance, and vendor relations of the organization's information security area. The manager will lead a team dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of security and risk management while balancing business needs and objectives. Through continuous assessment and improvement, the manager will foster a culture of security, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop and maintain strong vendor/supplier relationships. The goal is to protect the organization's assets, reputation, and customers' trust by maintaining a secure, reliable, and efficient information security program. They supervise internal and external 3rd party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the services in scope ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performance Monitoring and Status Reporting: Responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of security measures on an ongoing basis, establishing and overseeing internal and external information delivery channels, and monitoring the coverage of security skills.
- Financial Performance Management: Responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the organization's security services, including analyzing KPIs, tracking vendor utilization, and calculating ROI.
- Vendor Performance Management: Responsible for monitoring the service operations of security service providers, managing performance, escalation, and tools effectiveness, as well as overseeing purchasing, planning, and utilization tracking.
- Process Documentation and Monitoring: Responsible for ensuring that services are documented, identifying gaps, managing improvements, and evaluating the delivery of the services roadmap.
- Service Oversight: Responsible for ensuring that the organization's services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing new processes and procedures, and continuously monitoring their effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication: Responsible for communicating with stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and external partners, to keep them informed about service delivery and to ensure that service delivery is integrated into the overall business strategy.
- Continuous Service Improvement: Responsible for monitoring the performance of service delivery and implementing changes as needed to improve service effectiveness and efficiency.
- Contributes to strategy or develops and communicates plans to drive forward the strategy.

- Strategy: Contributes to the improvement of policies, standards, and processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Actively manages relationships with the most senior stakeholders, and is the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution.
- Defines, and gains agreement on, the principles for establishing effective relationships between stakeholders, including responsibility for the relationship between IT functions and end users.
- Engages and influences senior managers to ensure the portfolio in the area of responsibility will deliver the agreed business objectives, by planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on activities related to ensure that it contributes to the overall achievement of the strategy.
- Ensures that stakeholders understand and agree what will meet their needs, and that appropriate agreements are defined, oversees monitoring of relationships including lessons learned and appropriate feedback.
- Ensures that all stakeholders adhere to the strategic management approach and timetables.
- Establish working relationships based on collaboration, trust, and open communication to encourage co-innovation and service improvement.
- Standards, Governance and IS Compliance: Ensures compliance with our internal controls framework and procedures.
- Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACI specification.
- Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job.
