As Product Development Manager Dairy & Plant Based Dairy (M/F/d) you will manage the European Innovation Product Development team and activities for Dairy and Plant Based Dairy in Europe. This includes providing complex technical expertise which considers Givaudan's broad Taste & Wellbeing product portfolio. You will develop relationships with multiple customers, supporting the positioning of Food Experiences, whilst engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders, whilst executing innovation projects according to our goals and EHS policies.

You will be based in Kemptthal reporting to the Product Development Director Europe.

**You will**:
Drive Dairy and Plant Based Dairy Innovation in Europe
Contribute to the definition of European growth strategy by working with the regions to understand Dairy and Plant Based Dairy customer technical needs and opportunities
Develop and commercialize Givaudan innovation for Dairy and Plant Based Dairy products in close collaboration with the European markets and the global Science & Technology team
Identify and manage a portfolio of external collaborations with Suppliers, Start-Ups, Customers to drive innovation in Dairy and Plant Base Dairy

Support Dairy and Plant Based Dairy European Customers
Establish relationships with multiple Dairy & Plant Based Dairy customers
Represent Givaudan’s Dairy and Plant Based Dairy technical expertise with customers
Lead customer visits, co-development with customers and product presentations at customers

Develop and Share Knowledge and Expertise in Dairy and Plant Based Dairy
Be a technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, creation, and customers for Dairy and Plant Based Dairy products
Manage, coach, develop, and motivate a team of 3 technicians and technologists
Develop overall expertise within European Dairy technical community through coordination and delivering training programs
Recommend appropriate lab/pilot plant equipment needed for capital project investments

Environmental Health & Safety
Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following EH&S and Food Safety policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines

**You have**:
B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or Master's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or PhD in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology
Business Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage
Expert in solving technical issues in multiple Dairy and Plant Based Dairy
Experience and strong ability to communicate clearly with customers and other stakeholders to articulate clear messages and actively engage the audience
Used to manage technicians and technologists and instruct scientists
Understanding of Analytical/Sensory methodology
