Sales Area Manager On Trade - Region Zurich/Lucerne

The Purpose of the role:
As Sales Area Manager On Trade Switzerland you are driving the sales in the Horeca/Gastronomy channel and will report to On Trade Manager Switzerland. You are responsible for the On Trade customers, the yearly negotiations and daily follow-ups with the existing Wholesaler (WHS) base as well as extending the network, driving distribution and growing our volume through all relevant On Trade outlets.

You will have weekly meetings with the different stakeholders to monitor the On Trade performance and campaigns and ensure you match or even outperform the budget. You will be part of a sales force team dedicated to the gastronomy channel with clear target setting and daily contact and follow-up.

The role:
Wholesalers
- Growing our customer base in the gastronomy channel
- Weekly negotiations with existing base and extend the network
- Direct wholesale contact and build relationship
- Ensure listing of new to be introduced SKUs
- Weekly meetings to discuss performance
- 80% of travelling within Switzerland for partners visit

Sales force
- Part of a sales force team in Switzerland

Who we’re looking for:

- Bachelor degree, preferably in sales/economics
- At least 2+ years of Horeca/commercial experience preferably within FMCG sales
- Experience in negotiation with customers in gastronomy
- Has strong analytical skills and experience using Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
- Analyze Volumes and performance reports and take adequate actions with customers
- Target driven and a “dream big” mindset
- Willing to go the extra mile to deliver the results
- Takes ownership of projects and shows flexibility and initiative to achieve goals
- Knows how to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Mandatory languages: French, English in region Lausanne/Geneva and German, English in region Bern/Basel
