Sales Segment Team Lead Emea

In this role you will lead the Early Life Nutrition business for EMEA. Supported by a team of Account Managers and Assistants you will lead the ELN segment through using increasingly sophisticated value selling tools in order to make sales, forecasting/supply chain and marketing much more data-driven.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Shape and grow the ELN business, develop a mid-/long-term business plan resulting in a 24 months IBP plan and annual budgets.
- Ensure ELN business plans are closely aligned with the ELN EMEA marketing strategies.
- Develop new growth avenues based on deep understanding of market trends and consumer preferences in relevant industries and the impact these will have on key customers’ strategies and their need for new business models and nutritional solutions.
- Build a high-performance sales and account management organization capable of co-creating and selling differentiated value-adding nutritional solutions to customers.
- Ensure the ELN team works together seamlessly with Regional and Global Marketing, Regional and Global Innovation/Application & Formulation and Regulatory Affairs to develop these solutions.
- Develop a strong network of external stakeholders among customers, key opinion leaders, branch organizations, authorities and health care providers in order to develop the business dsm-firmenich as a thought leader in the ELN industry.
- Lead, manage and develop the account managers in the ELN Team.

**You bring**
- A minimum 15 years of experience in sales positions with a relevant educational background, ideally in Chemistry, Biology etc.
- Experience in regional Sales roles, especially in Middle-East or Africa, overseeing various product segments.
- Experience with Premix Business in Nutrition, ideally including a B2B ELN exposure.
- Proven leadership and change management skills.
- Proven track-record in value selling and growing business well above market growth.
- Good performance record at Sales/Key Account level and strong negotiation skills.
- Experience in building high-performance teams across cultures, countries and industries.
- Fluent in English.
