**Market Development Manager Softstarter**:

Support Softstarters Product Line ( Motor Starting & Safety Product Group) by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing into markets, segments, or other strategic areas not currently defined. Ensure the definition of the business plan, annual marketing plans, and marketing strategies according to budget. Reporting to the Motor Starting & Safety Market Development Management Leader, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in implementing the PG sales initiatives and reaching the assigned targets.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Contributing to Softstarters strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions Analyzing customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market
- Developing and implementing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the PG strategy
- Providing market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of new markets, segments or solutions
- Participating in internal work groups in order to share know-how, processes and market information
- Collaborating with all related internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of PG initiatives
- Coordinating product marketing launch development plans and ensuring efficient and effective execution together with the Local Sales Units
- Ensuring budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved. Ensuring achievement of targets on orders, E2E profitability, net price variance (NPV), Transfer Price Variance (TPV), etc.

**Your background**:

- At least five years of experience, preferably in a global business environment, in Sales & Marketing in the field of low voltage products/systems
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or/and a solid technical background in electrotechnics
- Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- Capability to define and adapt new business model in order to properly address new and evolving business environments
- Proficiency in English
- Availability for business travel
- A strong customer-focused mindset and willpower that contribute to our future success
- Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
