**Position Reports to**: Senior Marketing Director & Senior Global Brand & Marketing Manager
MOSCOT is a 109+ year old New York City based international heritage luxury eyewear brand. We're currently looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Marketing & Brand Manager to join our team This role will be responsible for the regional strategy in EMEA and implementation of all marketing activities across channels to drive the brand’s growth. You will work across multiple teams and external partners (agents, distributors, shops, PR agencies) and offices to identify business needs and communicate these to the rest of the marketing team and deliver effective and engaging, brand-enhancing marketing proposals.
**Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities**
**Brand Marketing**
- Support the Senior Global Brand & Marketing Manager with the creation of strategic proposals and ideas to raise brand awareness and strengthen the brand’s positioning among the leaders in the eyewear industry in the EMEA region. Ensure the local strategy is aligned with global strategy.
- Provide regional data input to support analysis on industry trends, brand positioning, media placement/delivery, comp & best practices.
- Support the delivery of global marketing initiatives through regional strategy in line with the Global Marketing plan.
- Support with daily marketing tasks and activities including regular communication with the wholesale and distribution partners. Ensure that all local partners are aware of and follow the branding guidelines and policies.
- Support with the communication of new marketing campaigns, collection launches and key product launches to all EMEA partners.
- Assist with marketing material orders and shipments for stockists.
- Support business to enhance in-store visibility. Assist and coordinate with Creative team to ensure prompt delivery of visual brand assets in line with the branding guidelines and DNA.
- Create and own a regional marketing calendar that is globally consistent, but locally relevant with seasonal campaigns and activations.
- Organize tradeshows, sales meetings and brand events whenever needed.
- Support with strategic documents to share with the wider business on marketing activities as well as any internal marketing communications.
- Prepare and deliver reports on request from the Marketing Department.
- Support MOSCOT Shops with events, create briefs and invites, etc.
- Assist Management with monitoring the local expenses.
- Stay on top of relevant cultural moments, current events, and trends in the fashion, lifestyle and cultural landscape (both luxury and mainstream) - both on and offline.
- Stay informed of trends, events, and competitive brands across luxury fashion and relevant industries.
- Thrive in a fast-paced industry and produce high quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
**PR**
- Oversee and liaise with partnered PR agencies. Build relationships with counterparts at relevant media outlets in directly PR managed territories to gain coverage and utilize relationships to effectively pitch and secure results. Cultivate relationships with stylists / VIPs for further styling opportunities.
- Develop the pitching strategy for brand stories and press releases in key territories focusing on feature stories, seasonal launches, ideating creative pitch angles and creating opportunities to insert MOSCOT into cultural conversation to secure media coverage in top - tier media, including but not limited to product placements, brand features, interviews. Create and manage the pitching calendar for such territories.
- Handle press inquiries and coordinate spokespersons interviews whenever needed.
- Conduct competitor press strategy analysis for key markets and present findings to leadership.
- Monitor local press clippings and follow the guidelines to collect them in systematic recaps. Highlight top monthly clippings to Corporate offices.
- Research, propose and support opportunities like, but not limited to, paid adv, OOH media etc.
- Monitor editorial ROI vs. advertising spend as well as identifying brand partnership opportunities.
- Copywriting experience would be appreciated.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Management / Marketing or related disciplines with full range of brand, marketing, PR and e-commerce experience.
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in marketing or management.
- Excellent management of deadlines, strong sense of urgency and prioritizing, proactive, multi-tasking.
- Fast-paced with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, strong sense of responsibility, well-organized and a good team player.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Notions of German, French, Spanish will be considered a plus.
- Experience in fashion accessories/eyewear/beauty/apparel/luxury goods.
- Deep understanding of Brand building tactics and KPIS.
