For our client, an international petrochemical company, we are looking for a European Sales Manager to strengthen their Sales department.

You have the opportunity to join a fast growing company with flat organization, with excellent working conditions.

**Your responsibilities**:
- **Sales Management**:

- Supports in developing annual sales plans and assists with long-term plan development.
- Oversees the product of responsibility full chain (from inventory to cash collection)
- Responsible for providing marketing analysis of the product
- Responsible for Monthly and Quarterly sales forecast (with grades and prices).
- Presale activities including customer visits and gathering information for customer profile.
- Supports customers in identifying required products and grades.
- Establishing technical services and support whenever required.
- Follows market intelligence, occurrence and price trends in the industry.
- Develops relationships with commercial counterparties and clients in every region.
- Maintains steady deal/transaction flow.
- Maximizes netback from sales activities.
- Monitors sales performance with respect to KPIs
- Supports Global Commercial Directors (GCD) in enacting global strategy at regional level.
- Communicates any regional shifts (e.g. supply-demand dynamics, arbitrage, etc.) to GCD to proactively strengthen global strategy.
- Leverages on latest market trends and updates to improve sales strategies.
- Collaborates and monitors sales progress from regional offices.
- Ensures trading within customer credit/insurance limits.
- Continuous inventory analysis & awareness of stock position to avoid overstock/ stock out situation.

Customer relation Management**:

- Develops strong sales knowledge to carry out and coordinate sales activity.
- Establishes new contacts and new prospects to widen market share.
- Carries out due diligence for each account and address any concern.
- Organizes customer visits and present SMC profile and product portfolio.
- Attends company meetings and industry events.
- Attends to customer complaints and monitors resolutions and action items.
- Supports in reconciling account receivables.
- Reconciles distributors’ orders and payments.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in English, French, German or Italian preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a petrochemical company
- Good market knowledge of petrochemicals and manufacturing of goods will be preferred
- Good Customer Project Management Skills
- Excellent Negotiation Skills
- Result oriented, independent and doer Attitude a must
