At Alpiq, we currently have an interesting opening as Portfolio Manager Sales. The role is ideal for somebody with a few years of experience in energy markets, who has a strong commercial sense and ambition, but also a great team orientation and the willingness and skills to efficiently advise and support our Originators and other front office colleagues. This role can be based in either Olten or Lausanne.

**Your main responsibilities**
- Management of the Sales portfolio in Switzerland (Reseller, Industry) and in Germany (Industry) (pricing of offers, implementation of transactions in the trading system, hedging, position monitoring and optimization)
- Pricing of PPA offtake/sales contracts Germany and Switzerland (fixed price, direct marketing) as well as the implementation of concluded transactions in the trading system
- Participating in or leading projects related to Alpiq’s Sales and Origination activity, such as the development of new products, continuous improvement of processes and tools, investments/divestments, etc.
- Close collaboration with the local Sales & Origination teams as well as other functions in the business

**Your qualifications**
- Higher education in a relevant field (university or other, technical, economical, scientific)
- At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in European energy markets
- Good understanding of power and gas products in sales and trading (e.g. different types of supply contracts with industrials)
- Solid analytical skills and affinity with tools and systems, advanced user of Excel, incl. VBA, additional coding skills a plus (e.g. Python)
- Great team player with winning personality and influencing skills, fluency in German and English required
