The Zurich office provides services for all its core businesses - private clients, asset management and technology for banking - and is therefore strategically important for the bank. This position is responsible for supporting the Local Managing Director and Head of Swiss Domestic Market in managing the market and the region, helping shape and implement the local Strategy, and leading the delivery of key changes and initiatives. The position is attached to Private Clients and has a very wide range of responsibilities including and not limited to business management, sales and revenue monitoring, some aspects linked to legal and compliance, organizational as well as strategic development.

Mission
- Define and execute the local strategy in support to the Local Managing Director (LMD) and Head of Swiss Domestic Market
- Organise, manage and effectively run operational and administrative tasks together with the LMD
- Design, run and monitor key local initiatives or projects
- Work in collaboration with Business Risk Management and the second line, i.e. Compliance, in mitigating and monitoring risks
- Responsibility in organising and running the various management committees at market and platform levels
- Act as a central point of contact for commercial and operational topics, engaging directly with the centralised teams of Operations, Finance, Risk and Compliance for issues related to the Swiss Domestic Market
- Be an actor of change and sparring partner to the LMD

Required profile:

- Master/ MBA graduate in Finance, Economics or in fields related to Business Administration
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in the financial services industry (preferably private banking) with focus on front office, business development, consulting and/or management support
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the capability to solve complex problems and handle multitasking
- Good communication skills and “can do” attitude
- Ability to operate in a senior environment with good understanding of organization dynamics
- Fluent written and spoken in German and English. French is a plus.
