We are searching for a Sales Key Accounts Management Director (M/F/d) who wants to join our international, growing, sustainable and diverse environment. The role is based in Zug, Switzerland and reports to our European Sales Director.

**Your mission**:
You will strengthen and further build our Key Account Customer relationship and develop the key account team to the next level of driving profitable growth and optimized sales efforts. At the core of your activity will be to drive profitable customer partnerships, leading the key account team and in being in alignment with the regional sales teams.

**Key responsibilities**:
Develop a strategic approach to account management and customer relationships

Build and implement customer focused and profitable medium to long-term account plans and objec-tives.

Co-ordinate and support implementation of Key Account initiatives and projects to provide a standard approach across Europe.

Define customer relationship map and contact strategy delivering co-ordinated approach to multi-level and cross functional relationship across Key Accounts.

Development a deep understanding of the customers' business, markets, needs and expectations and sharing internally within Ardagh.

Build strong value-added multi -level customer relationships within the Key Accounts.

Ensure a permanent co-ordination (in order to ensure Customer Satisfaction) across all relevant Ardagh’s functions.

Reach given sales profitability targets and top-line growth.

Select and develop pricing software and work with sales controlling to optimize value in negotiations.

Drive commercial excellence and contract management (incl. terms) within multi year contracts and drive Service Level Agreements.

Coordinate and align Business Unit and Ardagh Group strategy and actions for global customers for beverage and glass solutions.

Drive Contract Negotiations with KAs

Influence, persuade and negotiate with key decision makers.
In co-ordination with cross functional teams develop comprehensive strategies (including geographies, service offer, competitive situation, Value Add etc) and pricing proposal, in response to Key Account Tenders.
Use customer intelligence to assess market size and competitor position.
Presentation of Tender Strategy and Pricing to Sales and Marketing Director Europe and SMT.
Prepare-for, and lead contract negotiations.
In co-ordination with the Legal Department prepare and negotiate contract documentation.
Input and value ideas for new contract and proposal structures.

Build and keep a high level performing Key Account Team

Set a clear direction for individuals and team
Set challenging goals
Take time to make sure people know what is expected of them
Develop capability of individuals and team
Encourage people to put forward their ideas and views
Address conflict effectively as it arises

Reporting

Ensure budget and monthly Supply/Demand accuracy.
Inform Sales & Marketing Director Europe (and Senior Management Team/Other Directors as appropri-ate) about markets evolution, customers strategy, competition, market trends through regular Visit Re-ports.
Prepare Information/Strategy Packs for Senior Team as preparation for “Top to Top” meetings with Key Account Customers.

**Requirements**:
5-10 years’ experience within international corporate environment (manufacturing or packaging industry) in a sales and marketing context
Degree in Economics, Masterin Business Administration or equivalent, Postgraduate in General Manag-mentl
Excellent proficiency in English is mandatory, any additional European language is beneficial
Strong strategic and analytical skills paired with excellent advisory and communication skills
Negotiation strategy expert and according excellent negotiation skills
High-developed leadership and interpersonal skills
