**Key Account Manager OTC**
As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the design and delivery of both strategic and tactical sales plans for key accounts, ensuring excellence in execution and superior sales performance. You will care about a number of trade channels including wholesalers, pharmacy/drugstore chains and groups as well as doctors and hospitals, leading the Key Accounts OTC to accelerate the future growth of Johnson & Johnson portfolio in Switzerland.
You will be responsible for the achievement of short-term and mid-term goals with all KAM clients in terms of turnover and market share performance and compliance with the budget. You will be responsible for the implementation of the entire KAM strategy concept and optimal use of the resources and budget, just as well for the implementation of governance principles and the Credo guidelines.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- P&L responsibility of major Key Accounts
- Annual rolling customer activity plans ensuring business, brand and commercial objectives are fully aligned and met
- Accountable for leading and defining the key account strategy for sales aligned with broad company strategy and achieving agreed annual sales and profit budgets
- Tactical management of all key account sales and customer matters in order to achieve both short
- and long-term sales and profit objectives
- Providing accurate sales, investment and demand forecasts
- Analysis of distribution and market reports
- Drafting the annual turnover-sales plan in consultation in co-operation with the Head Pharmacy Channel
- Setting up and analysing the KAM program in co-operation with the Head of Pharmacy Channel
- Establishing annual targets for turnover and profit margins of the KAMs
- Collecting on-going information from the field sales team on all circumstances/events which should be known both in the field sales team and internally for optimal co-operation inside the company
- Collecting and passing on ideas from customers/staff, development of own ideas on assortment management and excellence in execution
- Drafting proposals for special advertising, sales promotion campaigns etc. based on feedback from KAM customers
- Maintaining contact with professional organisations and trade associations and attending the main fairs and events
**Qualifications**
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the sales function including relevant chain, channel and category management
- Min. 2 years professional experience in the Sales/ Marketing field with direct customer experience (sales/field sales team), ideally as Key Account Manager
- Experience in working with hospitals is a plus
- Very good German and English skills, French is a plus
- Proven sales leadership skills
- Very strong negotiation skills
- Inter-personal assertiveness
- Analytical, pragmatic and decisive with the ability to deal with paradox
- Strategic orientation, with the ability to manage tactically, when appropriate
- Excellent team working, communication and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a customer focus
- Proactivity, enthusiasm, commitment and orientation towards achieving results in line with company objectives
- Outstanding communication skills (including presentations)
