- Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Events team in organising external and internal events. This includes project-managing individual events from start to finish, as well as supporting overall logistics, delegate management, budget management and service delivery for all events.

Travel: Up to 20%

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full delivery of events and meetings, both physical and virtual, including internal client management and satisfaction, logistics, delegate management, promotion coordination, budget and administration)

Support the events team to ensure the effective execution of the overall Events strategy
Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report on results
Work closely with IT on the technical organisation of virtual events and meetings including e-voting when necessary.
Work with marketing and communication teams to promote and publicise events and meetings
Liaise with external suppliers, manage quotes, contracts, invoices.
Update the website of our company event pages on a regular basis
Supervise inventory of promotional items and goodies
Ensure compliance of all events with insurance, legal and health and safety obligations
Be proactive on suggestions and recommendation in terms of new ideas, concepts, venues, etc
Support the events and communications teams on other activities when needed or requested

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree level qualification in Events, Business, Hospitality or related areas.
At least 3 years experience in events management, ideally in an international environment
Swiss or valid work permit
