- to plant-based proteins.

**Your mission**:
- You have the overall responsibility for the production site at Kemptthal with over 50 employees.
- You lead the production, internal logistics, maintenance, and facility management professionally and personally.
- You provide stable daily operations, ensuring that products are produced efficiently in the required quantity, on time, at right cost and with desired level of quality.
- You continuously track and improve the performance in terms of quality, efficiency, manufacturing costs, waste quantity, line downtime, on time delivery and raw material use based on robust KPI.
- You actively drive the transformation of our production site into a highly efficient and flexible production plant operating in multi-shifts to support the growth plan of Planted.
- You plan and organize production schedules and staffing for multi-shift operations taking into consideration demanded quantities, budgeted labour costs and employment law.
- You hire new prospects and make sure that employees achieve the desired occupational skills. You coach team members in line with Planted culture and actively contribute to a strong company culture.
- You work closely with process engineering to establish shopfloor management, continuous improvement and lean management methods.
- Budget and resource accountability.
- You are responsible for the maintenance of facilities and manufacturing equipment.
- You ensure stringent product quality adherence in line with quality specifications and food safety standards.
- You are responsible for occupational health and safety (OHS) and adherence to safety rules.
**You**:
- Have a University/University of applied sciences BSc/MSc degree in Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering or similar higher education. An additional further education in business administration or management would be a plus.
- Are a manufacturing professional with 8+ years of experience in leading an industrial food production department operating in multi-shifts.
- Have a strong track record in achieving performance improvements and cost savings.
- Have profound knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and tools, TQM Systems, or lean six sigma.
- Are experienced in factory set-up and fast scaling
- Are an entrepreneurial personality with a high sense of responsibility and strong leadership.
- Are highly proficient in working with ERP systems and able to enhance further the ERP System for the manufacturing plant in collaboration with the ERP specialists.
- Have a positive mindset towards growth and continuous challenges.
- Are performance-orientated and willing to go the extra-mile with your team
- You are committed to the development of your employees.
- Are visionary for the future of food production.
- Are fluent in German and English
