**Head of Procurement Europe - Indirect Materials and Services (IM&S) - Your future position?**

**Location: Vernier or Kemptthal (Switzerland)**

Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement Indirect Materials and Services (IM&S), you will manage indirect spend (which includes packaging, logistics and Capex) regionally and lead the procurement strategy, procurement contribution and value creation in close collaboration with the business divisions including 30+ sites.

**You will**:

- **Build Trust and Credibility**: Be an active member of the Global IM&S Leadership Team. Represent the procurement function with regional and key site stakeholders. Establish and implement structural engagement plans. Foster collaboration between global, regional, and local procurement and regional partners by ensuring transparency, communication, understanding of business needs, and thought agreement. Ensure success of agreed procurement projects within the region.
- **Influence and Partner**: Foster collaboration with Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS) and lead change management towards implementation of IM&S processes in the region including Acquisitions. Guide procurement initiatives budgeting process for the region in collaboration with stakeholders and global category team. Ensure environment of predictability and alignment with stakeholders. Manage and develop procurement strategies for regional and local categories including differentiating ideas. Implement new policies, procedures, processes and systems. Perform risk assessment and measure supplier performance.
- **Lead and Mentor**: Lead & develop regional IM&S team (21 FTE's). Establish clear sourcing strategies, stakeholder engagement, priority setting, and resource optimization. Develop and manage regional/site sourcing activities and suppliers. Manage supplier relationships in collaboration with global category management. Support supplier rationalization and development of preferred suppliers. Ensure security of supply, quality compliance and commercial compliance. Actively promote sustainability programs within the region.

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in IM&S Procurement or functional experience
- Minimum of 5 years proven leadership experience in an international environment
- Proficiency in English (additional European language knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to engage with partners at different levels and with different functions
- Experience with Procurement Processes
- Cultural awareness
